Fuel Required is pleased to present this good-looking 1972 Plymouth Cuda in our McDonald, PA showroom. The Plymouth Barracuda is a two-door pony car that was manufactured by Chrysler Corporation from 1964 through 1974 model years. The third generation, offered from 1970 until 1974, was based on the Chrysler E-body, exclusive to it, and the slightly larger Dodge Challenger. Production of the Barracuda ended April 1, 1974, ten years to the day after it had begun. This 1972 Plymouth Barracuda is a rare find, painted in “Richard Petty Blue” paint, which may also be known as “True Blue” depending on who you ask. Regardless, it’s a fantastic color especially when coupled with the blue factory interior. This is a strong running driver quality Cuda that looks and sounds great. It had been with the same owner for over 39 years. The 340 V8 powertrain was rebuilt in 2001 and included roller rocker arms, valve springs, Edelbrock intake and carburetor, Mopar performance valve covers, Hooker headers and much more. The 727 Torque Flight transmission was also rebuilt and includes a shift kit. This car has only clocked 4,000 miles since its restoration. The interior features new front seats, carpet, rally dash cluster, Blaupunkt stereo and Alpine speakers.
